PROGRESSIVE DISTRIBUTION BLOCK The progressive distribution block is a single line grease distributor that distributes grease from a MD 2000 lubricator to 4,6, or 8 separate lubrication points. When the block completes 1 cycle (either 4,6,or 8 ports) an indicator pin will move back and forth one time showing that the cycle has completed. If any of the lubrication ports are plugged, the pin will not cycle and the block stops its operation. Therefore, none of the outlet ports can be blocked, or the distribution block will stop operation. If you require fewer points to be lubricated then you must combine 2 ports together to make a single outlet port until the total number of outlets is reduced to the number of outlets desired. Note that when 2 outlet ports are joined together the lubrication point being fed by this combined port will receive twice as much grease as a point directly connected to an outlet port. To join outlet ports together, standard plumbing fittings can be used to “T” 2 ports together or you can purchase a port fitting from C&L Supply Co. Using the progressive distribution block together with a MD 2000 lubricator provides a complete stand alone multi-point grease lubrication system. |
